What is an Alpine ID Tag?

Since 1977, when the club was formed, the club has kept records of all Alpines registered by members and non-members in a database, and each one is given a unique number which is relevant to the car and not the owner. 

The Tag is made of metal 75mm x 30mm x .08mm thick with the club logo and the words Club ID Register No. ****, with a sticky peel off back for attaching to the Alpine on the scuttle next to the chassis plate. The number is printed in blue.
